SADIE

THE MANY FACES OF SADIE!!

Sadie is a complex young lady who came to MCAR a little from a hoarding situation where any dog not removed from the property the day we arrive would have been euthanized by the following morning.  She was outside, on a chain, but still OH SO SWEET and wanted so much love and attention.  One of our dedicated fosters agreed to take her in and work on her house manners and such.  She was and is a strong willed girl who has her opinions on what she wants to do, when she wants to do it and who and who is not going to be her friends...EXCEPT when it comes to people.  Sadie ADORES people!  She wants to be with her people on the couch, going for walks or playing in the back yard, and enjoys taking a leisurely afternoon nap.

Sadie was adopted after completing two obedience training courses with flying colors!  We just knew she was on her way to a wonderful happy life.

Well, life had other plans and through no fault of her own, her family had to surrender her back to MCAR.  During her time away from us it seems that she

has decided to be her old, finicky self again.  She still LOVES her people but is having trouble adjusting to a busy foster home with other dogs and cats.

She seems to do pretty well with dogs that are smaller than herself but larger dogs bring out the "bossy" in her!!

SADIE NEEDS:  A loving COMMITTED, RESPONSIBLE home, that understands that her as well as understanding the  American Staffordshire Terrier - (commonly known as a Pit bull).  She is NOT an aggressive animal , but needs boundaries and limits .She needs a structured home without cats and even preferably without other dogs or small dogs.  Allowing Sadie to be your one-and-only love allows you to give her all the love and structure she needs to be the wonderful family companion she can be.

Again, she loves people of all sorts.  Loves the attention, the hugs and kisses etc...

IF SADIE SOUNDS LIKE A YOUNG LADY YOU WOULD LIKE TO GET TO KNOW BETTER - AS A FOREVER HOME OR EVEN A FOSTER HOME THAT IS VERY WELL ACQUAINTED WITH HER BREED - PLEASE CONTACT US AT MUSICCITYANIMALRESCUE@GMAIL.COM

Help us not to let this sweet girl down!!

Tonka:

Tonka is a loveable, goofy, 3 year old boy!  He gets along well with people, other dogs and absolutely adores kids.  He does well with dogs that are close to his size or smaller.  He does pretty well with larger dogs once they get to know each other.  Even though Tonka is still pretty young and can hold his own when it comes to play time, he is also very content to sit with you on the couch and watch television while chewing his favorite bone.  He is not an excessive barker, he only barks when he needs to bark and he is perfectly happy to chill by himself while you are away.

Tonka is a wonderful boy with one vice....he does NOT like cats or small prey animals.  Again, he does very well with small dogs and adores puppies but he just can't get over a cat.

Tonka would be a great family dog with children old enough to run and play with him.  Tonka is a big boy and when he gets excited, he might be a little rough with a toddler.

He would be a wonderful companion to an active guy looking for a buddy or a female who is used to handling strong dogs.

Tonka is fully vetted - neutered and microchipped.  He is a fantastic young man looking for his forever family.  If you would be interested in meeting Tonka, contact our Dog Team Coordinator at mcar.dogteam@gmail.com.  Tonka is looking forward to meeting you!
